Hook: Stinger #2-#8
Thread: Yellow (Black) 3/0
Body: Yellow Chenille
Tail: Yellow Hackle
       Krystal Flash
       Red Marabou
Eyes:(Optional)Gold Eyes
Hackle: 1 strip of yellow saddle hackle

Tying Instructions:
Before attaching your thread make sure to wrap on your lead. The amount of lead you use depends on how heavy you want the fly. If you want to go deep then put as much as two rows of lead on on the shank. Now attach your thread. If you going to put on an eye do it now using figure eight wraps. Now cut out a good amount of red marabou for the tail along with 4 strands of yellow hackle and a few strips of Krystal Flash. Attach all the tail contents. Now attach your chenille in the same place as the tail. Attach one strip of yellow saddle hackle in the same location. Wrap your thread to the eye of the hook. Now wrap your chenille forward to just behind the eye of the hook and tie it down. Then wrap the saddle hackle forward and tie it down. Tie off for your finished fly.

Fly Information:
If you have yellow thread then use it on these flies. Most people don't have yellow thread, so if now you can use black. This fly is a fly I created with the popular five of diamonds lure in mind. You can fish this near the top and out of most of the weeds if you don't add any lead or eyes to the hook. I fish many lakes where we are fishing pretty deep for the pike so I add both lead and gold eyes to get the hook down. Only problem is it becomes a flying missile when casting! It is not required that you have to use a stinger hook, I just like to use these hooks for pike because they have a much bigger gap on them.
