Tied by Greg Gagne for the Dry Fly Swap

Hook: Wet Fly #8-#20
Thread: Black 6/0
Body: Antron Dubbing (Tan, Brown)
Wing: Tan Polywing
Hackle:Dark Ginger

Tying Instructions:
First attach your thread to the hook. First dub the body with your antron dubbing of the color you have selected for the fly. The body covers the back 2/3 of the fly. Then apply the wing material. The wing should extend back to about the bend of the hook. Make sure not to put too much wing material on, this a common mistake for beginners. Then use one strip of hackle and wind it forward to the eye of the hook and tie off.

Fly Information:
This fly is meant to be fished under the water and with some kind of a retreive. If fishing in a river it is best to fish this fly across and down in the stream and give some sudden twitches to your rod. In a lake you can fish these from a float tube and drift with the wind along the chum lines or wind lanes.
